What We Believe About Children

    We believe that children:

  • Should be taught that God's Laws of Life are found in the Bible and that reading it will help guide them through life.

  • Learn best in an environment which allows them to choose activities which best meet their needs socially, physically and emotionally.

  • Can make decisions and choices with adults serving as guides rather than as "teachers".

  • Learn best in an environment that encourages active use of the five senses.

  • Learn best when they are in an environment which encourages self-control, independence and creative thinking.

  • Learn from each other; therefore, a family group setting will encourage this interaction along with understanding each other.

  • Are naturally curious; therefore, it is essential that the environment must have educational materials relating to all curriculum areas.
