What We Believe About Children
We believe that children:
- Should be taught that God's Laws of Life are found in the Bible and that reading it will help guide them through life.
- Learn best in an environment which allows them to choose activities which best meet their needs socially, physically and emotionally.
Can make decisions and choices with adults serving as guides rather than as "teachers".
- Learn best in an environment that encourages active use of the five senses.
- Learn best when they are in an environment which encourages self-control, independence and creative thinking.
Learn from each other; therefore, a family group setting will encourage this interaction along with understanding each other.
- Are naturally curious; therefore, it is essential that the environment must have educational materials relating to all curriculum areas.
